The Lizard Whisper

The Lizard Whisper introduces the new Flynn-Fletcher pet North American Lizard, named Steve (Isabella-"Why Steve?" Phineas-"Cause he looks like a Steve." Isabella-"Hm... Can't argue with logic like that."). He is turned into a Giant Lizard by one of Doctor Doofenshmirtz' Prototype Gigantinator Ray, which is actually fired by Jeremy, whom is teaching Doofenshmirtz to play the Vintage Guitar he bought to summon aliens to help him conquer the Tri-State Area (Major Monogram-"Good Morning Agent P, Doofenshmirtz has been stocking up on a lot of high-endsound equipment, and musical instruments. In fact, he just outbid me on a sweet vintage Madentop guitar." Carl the Intern-"Ouch! You totally got sniped!"). Ironically, Major Monogram is also taught to play the guitar by Jeremy. After talking about the O.W.C.A. to Jeremy, he ask ironically asks if Jeremy is OK with this. Jeremy responds, most likely after his time with Doofenshmirtz: "Oh no. I charge by the hour, so knock yourself out." It is revealed, that along with the Shrinkinator, Doofenshmirtz also has the need to grow things, most likely after the plot of Lets Take A Quiz. Also, "Steve," the chameleon is hit by a second blast of the Gigantinator after Jeremy leaves, thus, Linda letting the boys keep it as their pet.

During a hunt for "Steve," it is shown that despite being quiet, Ferb is a great man of respect, and honor. He is self-determined, and brave as he gives a speech that inspires people to help until they figure out what "Steve," looks like (Danville Police Officer-"We'll help you find your friend! What does he look like?" Phineas-"He's a Giant Lizard, about 40 feet tall!" Man-"Oh. You could've mentioned that up front."). He is also, obviously, good at making dramatic speeches, and rallying people together for a good cause.
